ABOUT YOU
We have to take care of ourselves.
We have to make ourselves a priority—not out of selfishness, but out of necessity. We must first find our way back to ourselves before we can move forward into anything of true purpose, meaning, or value.
Be your true Self in action.
You have to fight your way inward.
Through the walls.
Into the fortress.
Past the guards of everything you have been told to believe, to feel, to desire, to buy, to become.
The world is constantly telling us who we should be. What we should want. What we should look like. What we should sound like. What we should fear. What we should chase.
At some point, you have to step away from all of it.
Go somewhere inside yourself where the noise cannot follow you.
Make yourself alone—not lonely, but alone enough to hear yourself.
Push inward until you reach the place where your true peace lives. Where your power lives. Where you can finally be completely, unapologetically yourself—at full strength, untouched by the expectations, opinions, demands, and influences of everything outside of you.
That is where the work begins.
There is no shortage of self-help in this world. No shortage of heal yourself, transform yourself, get fit, get well, look better, live better, become your best self.
But what happens after?
What do we do with the person we fought so hard to become?
Because the proof that you truly grew isn’t simply that you got a better job, look better, smell better, sound better, feel better, or have more money in your bank account.
Those things may be wonderful.
But they are not the measure of who you became.
The deeper proof is this:
Other people are doing better because you are here.
Someone feels less alone because of you.
Someone finds courage because you gave them yours when they had none left.
Someone believes in themselves because, you believed in them first.
Someone heals a little because you chose to show up whole.
That is when you know you are truly doing better.
Not when you have simply improved your own life—
but when the life you have fought to build begins to create a little more light in someone else’s.
And perhaps that is the greatest freedom of all:
To be so fully yourself that doing good is not something you have to force yourself to do.
You do it simply because it is who you are.
